Happy Halloween...

Today was a great day. I took off today to make up for some of the time that was lost during my volleyball season. We started out the morning @ cracker barrell for breakfast, then spent some time together at Walmart... every girls hang out. Then finished the night trick or treating. The girls had a blast. Addy wore out after about 2 hours but Ashlynn really wanted to keep going. She ended up with 2 bags of candy (enough to last a year or two). Below I have attached some pictures of the girls in their costumes. I hope you enjoy...

Family Bonding... around the bath tub

Every night we have family togetherness... in the bath tub... That is when Ashlynn and Addison Bond... Ashlynn teaches Addy all of the do's and don'ts of bathing. This week, Addy decided it is funny to stick her tongue in the water. I had to quickly put a stop to that... Addy pee pee'd in the big girl potty yesterday... how exciting... she's getting so big so quickly... Hope you enjoy their bath pic...

A Fall Weekend at the Park

On Sunday, I had to do some family pictures of a friend of mine. You know I couldn't possibly take pictures of someone else without photographing my babies. So, I got the girls dressed up Sunday afternoon and off we went to the park to find some nice brightly colored leaves. I hope that you all have a great week and enjoy the pictures...

Thankful Thursday

Doesn't our little Addy girl look like an angel? We received some of the most amazing news today. This morning she had a developmental clinic at St. Vincent. Typically with a stroke patient, they check them every 6 months for 3 - 5 years. Addison was amazing. Normal is a score of 100 cognitive and 100 physical. Addison scored 103 cognitive and 105 physical. She is currently at the brain and physical function of a 20 month old and she is only 19 months. I am so thankful that God has healed our baby. Dr. Escobar was so impressed that he discharged Addy from the clinic and said that he did not feel there was any reason for her to return. We shouldn't notice any change now until Kindergarten so, we'll just have to keep an eye on her but, she is doing better then I ever could have expected. Sometimes it takes a child going through something so terrible as a stroke to teach us that God is always there and can do anything. He humbles us and teaches us that there is so much more to life then working, playing, winning, etc. I have always been so competitive and love to win however no championship that I have ever won made me feel as great as I am feeling tonight. It was senior night tonight for my Volleyball team and all I could think about was how Addy was a senior stroke patient and she graduated!!! Thank you again for all of your prayers and I hope that you guys love the pictures of our baby girl that I am posting below. Have a great Week!
